Summer 2017 prep

Well I will be the first to hold my hands up and admit as much as I have tried to take care of my skin through the Winter months with lashings of cream, endless mask applications and the intent to detox after the Christmas months I have still come out the other end looking a little dishevelled and in desperate need of a Vitamin D injection and Skin revival kit.

Thats not to say we all go out and find the cheapest holiday in aid of chasing the sun and completely cook ourselves for a week, desperately trying to achieve that natural holiday glow because it just doesn't work that way sadly!

Its all about Moderation as my dear Dietician mother would say when it comes to food, and there really is no change when it comes to Skin Care. There's no better way than to start with the inside out.

Then you have your Home Care Skin Remedy Kits with the likes of Hyaluronic Acid Sweeps which are coming to our drugstore shelves in mass this year. My only word of advice is, don't let it be confused with Home tools and devices such as the Clarisonic, these are great and a definate must but be cautious when it comes to deciding which remedy products are best for you- There is so much choice these days and to be honest you can't beat a £35-50 facial with experts that will map your skin first and advice you on the key products best suited for you.

If your looking for an instant glow and express skin booster in the comfort of your own home then my top tip would be Temple Spa's Award Winning 'Skin Truffle'. The smell, the colour, everything about it screams luxury and although it can't be bought over the counter, it's just as easy to buy online. Give it a read at https://www.templespa.com/skin-truffle

Thirdly - Out with the Old and in with the New, there is never a truer saying. It is so important with both Skin Care and Make Up to try new products, not only because technology is forever advancing but also the simple fact is our body can get used to the products and so results aren't necessarily as obvious anymore. A 'refresher' so I like to call it, and that's not to say you need to stray from your favourite brand or be swayed towards the latest and greatest trends but listen and pay attention to your skin and the changes its going through.

Last thought of the day... This Summer is set to be painted with Bright colours, Floral prints, Stripes and any mismash combo you want to wear so let that be reflected and complimented in the Make Up you wear. The smudgy soft eye is a great look for going from both day to night, with soft charcoals and huey blues, but remember keep the skin clean and fresh with a freckly 'just got back from a Spa retreat' look.

Temple Spa

SOLD in Harrods and used only in exclusive Hotels the price does not reflect the pure luxury of this product!

Before training as a MakeUp Artist I didn't have much time or interest in investing in my basic Skin Care. I would wash my face and occassionally moisturise but that was about the extent of it, until more recently when I came to the conclusion that without well nourished skin your MakeUp will never sit right.

We all have different skin from Dry to Oily, sometimes medical issues and finding the right product for you can be frustrating, but with Temple Spa's natural ingredients, such as advocado/ lavender (a whole host of delicious additives) you can be sure to find something for you.

The difference in my skin has been incredible and I make sure to share it with all my clients. A MUST have!

Temple Spa is a total lifestyle brand that seeks to beauitfully fuse product, philosophy and spa. Our passion is professional standard skin care and body care, aromatherapy and spa treatments that replenish, revive, renew and love to treat people very well.

Temple Spa is a brand based on botanical actives derived mostly from Southern Europe, many of which are utilised in nutrition and which have a sustainable history of healthy effects. Its about well being, self-pampering, natural ingredients, essential oils and reduced chemicals
